About the practice

A clear, person-first approach

The practice uses external, hands-on techniques selected according to the individual's current condition and tolerance. The website intentionally avoids cure claims, guaranteed outcomes and medical promises.

◎

Assessment First

Relevant history, reports and current movement are reviewed before an in-person assessment or session is considered.

↗

Movement Support

Sessions may focus on comfort, mobility awareness, body movement and functional support according to individual needs.

♡

Responsible Care

Existing medical treatment should not be stopped or changed without advice from the treating healthcare professional.

About Sundar

More than 25 years of practical experience

Sundar's journey began more than 25 years ago with an interest in traditional, external approaches to wellbeing. He spent several years learning and observing hands-on techniques from traditional practitioners in different parts of India and through interactions connected with Sri Lankan traditional practice.

Over time, he brought elements of that practical learning together into the individualized approach now presented as Sundar's Ancient Healing. The practice does not claim to diagnose or cure disease, and it is intended to work alongside appropriate medical care rather than replace it.

Assessment pathway

From enquiry to suitability

A clear process helps set realistic expectations and keeps the first contact focused on safety and suitability.

Send an enquiryShare the main concern, age, diagnosis if known, and how long the problem has been present.
Share relevant recordsIf you choose, send available reports or other medical information relevant to the enquiry.
Movement reviewShort videos of current movement may be requested where relevant and with the person's permission.
Suitability discussionIf appropriate, an in-person physical assessment is arranged. Therapy is not guaranteed after enquiry.
Areas of support

Complex mobility concerns need careful evaluation

People may enquire about long-standing movement limitations, stiffness, weakness, balance concerns or functional difficulties. These are enquiry categories, not disease-treatment or cure claims.

Neurological movement support
Post-stroke movement difficulty, neurological injury or long-standing mobility limitations may be reviewed individually.
Musculoskeletal mobility
Stiffness, reduced range of movement, posture or functional limitation may be considered after assessment.
Balance & walking concerns
Current safety, fall risk and medical stability should be understood before any physical intervention.
Bed-bound or limited mobility
Suitability depends on medical stability, caregiver support, tolerance and the person's overall situation.
